USDA’s Office of Inspector General Recommendations for Changes in E.coli Testing

USDA’s Office of Inspector General recently released a report with recommendations on changes USDA should implement when testing for E.coli.  OIG has some great ideas.

I wrote a brief article, which explains the absolute need for implementation of OIG’s recommendations.  The article was published on the Food Safety News website this morning, and can be accessed at

Feel free to respond to these remarks on either the Food Safety News website, or on FARE’s website.
